A small personal project that reminds me of my childhood. Many summers when my parents were at work, I stayed home alone to practice writing Vietnamese. My mother often told me to rewrite some children's literature. Well, those days alone were a bit lonely, but in return, I found joy in playing with my pets and had a lot of time to observe and enrich my imagination in my father's garden.

I illustrated the process of making Do paper and the people who make it in Dong Cao village, Bac Ninh, Vietnam, for the Center of Culture Heritage Vietnam and the British Council.

A series of illustrations commissioned by Kim Dong Publishing for their annual collection of stories.

I illustrated the story “The Return of the Spoonbill Sandpiper”, written by climate activist Trang Nguyen. The project is part of a scholarship provided by the British Council in 2023, where I receive one-on-one mentoring from art director Jane Buckley and illustrator Jan Fearnley. I also have the opportunity to collaborate with other Vietnamese illustrators and Nha Nam publishing houses.

A short animation for Animals Asia - a message of love for Moon bears and Sun bears. My role in this project is to create the initial visual direction for the film so that my friend Camelia Tra Pham can develop further. This is a collaboration of my watercolor style with Tra's flexible digital drawing style. The short animation won a People's Choice Award at the Smiley CFA Charity Film Awards 2023.
