I am Cam Anh Nguyen, a children's book illustrator from Vietnam.
I love working with traditional media like watercolor, gouache, ink, and colored pencils. Before finding my true calling in children’s books, I worked in advertising and short films. I have since illustrated several picture books published in Vietnam. I am passionate about bringing more stories about magic, childhood, and nature into the world.
In 2024, I was selected for a We Need Diverse Books Illustration mentorship with Hatem Aly, which helped me further develop my skills. I am now enrolled in further picture book mentorship programs to deepen my understanding of the craft of both writing and illustrating.
When I'm not painting, you can find me walking with my dog, Mun Moon, or playing with my three cats: Thi, Sún, and Cozy.
